a small story and a free loop
Sometimes you feel quite uninspired as a producer and are happy to consume some other form of media. After some beat block I decided to go on a stroll with my girlfriend at night and we ended up finding a really cool vintage VW sports car – that kind of got me into the idea into rewatching The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift again. I still find myself enjoying the main soundtrack a lot. I can’t really tell why, but it has such a motivating feel to it and it puts in me in some state of rush. That ultimately even got me that motivated to record some more music in the same night. Oh, and yeah, the picture down below is that cool looking vintage VW.
I’ve recorded plenty of sounds that night, but the one that is downloadable below might be my favourite. It features a melody with some sort of glass-sounding synth. I think it really captures the vibe of the original film and soundtrack quite well. Be my guest and check it out for yourself.
